Is there anyway that after two and a half almost three years of being off the depo shot I could be pregnant?

Yes, there is that possibility. But it varies for person to person. Have you consulted your doctor about this yet?

No I haven't been able to make it to a doctor. I been having nauseua headaches lower back pains and I spotted for 3 days last month and still haven't seen my period. I was on depo for approximately a year year and a half. That is why I asked. My boyfriend and I tried for almost 2 years without any luck. I was also told though he could be infertile due to an accident he was in. I'm only 21 and from what I understand I'm at the most fertile point in my life and I'm hoping depo has not messed that up for me!

There are some other signs that lead me to believe this could be pregnancy but I wasn't to sure after reading everything I have about depo and it causing infertility. Thank you!

I'm afraid that the depo is still having an affect on me after almost 3 years not being on it.

Thank you. I will try another test. If that doesn't work I will be off to the doctor hopefully this week or next!

Could be, but pregnancy is also a possibility.
You won't know for sure until you take the test or get blood work done.
Either way something is going on and you need to see a doctor to figure out what it is.
Good luck. :)

Thank you very much! I'm just very worried that even if I'm not pregnant now I will never be able to get pregnant. Nobody ever told me about this side effect of depo!

It's a possible side effect, not a definite one. Don't be too quick to think that you won't be able to have a child.
Wait and see, one step at a time. First find out if you're pregnant now, then go from there.
