I'm going to be 16 in July. I got in a car accident, and I took a pill that I wasn't supposed too, and I took it with a sip of beer. The cop said I smelled like alcohol so he wanted to take a blood test... will he check just for alcohol or for everything? Cause I smoked weed the day before and I was wondering what kind of trouble I could get in if they seen it in there..

What state are you in? Laws do vary state to state. But in my state ANY alcohol in a minor's system is enough to have their license suspended. And if the cop could still smell the alcohol, it was probably still in your blood stream too. So whether the weed shows up you're most likely going to be in trouble.

I'm in Michigan.. they made me take a breathalizer(*sp) test..
And it came back negative.. but they still took a blood test.. but I didn't know if they would just test for alcohol.. or for everything..
What all can show up in a blood test?

Michigan DUI Terms | DUILaws.com (http://www.duilaws.com/michigan/michigan-dui-terms)
This site says that they will test for other drugs if they suspect them. So they may just to a tox screen to see what, if anything you were on. If that's what they do then yes, the marijuana will show up. How long marijuana will stay in your system depends on a number of factors but if you smoked it the day before the blood test, it's pretty certain that it will show up.

http://www.legaljoint.net/state_by_state/Michigan_DUID.asp?p=Michigan%20DUIDhere's two links. It says that the metabolites for marijuana are an exception to the zero tolerance rule for driving (which I guess makes since since they can stay in your system for so long after the high leaves) but it also says that there is a penalty for the use of marijuana. I'm not an expert so I can't tell you what to expect but maybe you can find more info on the site yourself or someone else on here can help more.
