I have an image for an icon... but it's not in .ico format. Don't have any software to do that yet, but will get it and/or take suggestions as to what's good and prfereable free. LOL

My question: I want to take this image and put it on my desktop and turn it into a working shortcut to a webpage.

Does any one know how to do this or have any advice for me?

If your original file is not .jpg, then just replace the search term above with the file type you have.
