I'M usually at the laptop for more then 4 hours on a daily basis I suspect that my vision got a bit blurry (my number probably went up) I think I need a screen protector for my laptop, the number from my glass are currently around 500 and have it in mind that I'm only a teenager.lets get to the point does anyone use currently a screen protector that doesn't strain the eye or which is the best and cheapest...

You need to take rest breaks from the computer if that's the issue. I don't know much about screen protectors.

You need to take a break and walk around for about 2-3 minutes every half hour.

And you need to have an eye exam every year.

I don't believe an LCD monitor on a laptop would strain your eyes in quite the same way as the old tube style CRT monitors which used electron guns to create light and emitted radiation.

The problem is staring at any light source is bad for your eyes and no filter is going to change that... you can lower the brightness of the monitor but as the last person said the best idea is to take frequent breaks.
