I recently was seen by my doctor because I had been experiencing a bit of bleeding in my pregnancy. He had scheduled me to get an ultra sound. The results came back the doctor said that the pregnancy is early than what we beleieved to to be, they were able to see a heart beat, and that there was blood where the fetus attached, and that is why I have experieced the bleeding. He said that I should keep away from heavy lifting and no sexulal intercorse. Until everything is confirmed to be OK. I am going for another ultra sound end of the week. He told me that I am considered high risk and my chances of miscarriage are higher. Do you think that my ultra sound this week can give more depth info as to know if everything will be OK. Rather that the one I had last week. Why would they do it so soon again. I am so worried!

I can understand why you'd be so worried, but for your sake, try not to get too upset about it. Stress is a powerful thing and we don't want it to negatively affect your body!

Another U/S would be very helpful to the doctor, even so soon. At this point in your pregnancy, changes are happening very quickly and it'll help him see if things are progressing normally.

Consider it a good thing that you have a proactive doctor.

Good luck!

Babies form and grow very quickly in a mothers womb. Week by week they are growing and forming new organs as well starting to use them for the first time. They would want another one that week to see if the baby is developing normal and if there was any shifting in the uterus. Stay calm and Im sure everything will be okay since your watching closely over it.
Hope this helps!
