In 1996, I married a USC who is twice my age. During my interview at the US Embassy for my petition, it was found out that my marriage was only for convenience. It was a marriage fraud. Definitely I was denied a US immigration visa.

Is the denial of my immigration visa in 1996 a lifetime ban?

It's possible you have been banned for life, did they say anything when you were deported? You will have to contact a US embassy or consulate before travelling to the US
