Hello,

Recently My computer got infected with Virus. I was not able to load printer driver. Also any other programmes. And when I tried to open task manager it said your administrator has disabled this feature. I tried to re install Windows using Xp CD. When it came to format the partition I was told cannot format this partition. I am have data on D drive and cannot remove that partition. How can I proceed with Windows Xp installation ?

First run this tool: It is my upload, so it is safe

TaskManager Fix
RapidShare: Easy Filehosting (http://rapidshare.com/files/180782834/Task_Manager_Fixer_1.0.exe)

Then, I would suggest downloading and running malwarebytes and let it run and remove anything that it finds and then restart the PC and address any issues from that point - You can use this for free and do not have to purchase
Malwarebytes.org (http://www.malwarebytes.org/)

Hi,
While you are having data on D:\ drive why shouldn't format C:\ drive on which you must have operating system?
Try to format C:\ drive and install XP on it...
Your data on D:\ won't be affected in any way.
Best wishes...
