What is the weight of an object that has a mass of 20.0Kg?

Use Newton's formula, F=ma.

Since weight is a force and the acceleration here is gravity, you can say that W=mg, where W is weight, m the mass and g the acceleration due to gravity, (10m/s^2 or 9.81m/s^2, depends on how much accuracy you are asked to give your answer.)

The simple answer is that it depends on the force of gravity.

The downward force due to gravity is what we usually refer to as weight. You can calculate force using this well-known equation (Newton's second law of motion):

F=ma where F is the force (weight), m is the mass, and a is the acceleration. In this case, it's the acceleration due to gravity.
