I think I was on depo less than a yr and during the middle of August to the middle of October (2008) I was a couple days late for my shot, so I just decided to stop receiving it (because I heard of the bone risk thing & I have not so strong bones in the first place) I don't know a specific day I stopped it but I do know it was during/around/between thoose months. I had unprotected sex in nov on the 27th. I don't have periods because of the shot and I don't know if It's possible to get pregnant or if I am or how far along? Help me out I am so confused about this I can't even try to figure it out. I would really appreciate the help! Please don't be one of those people that is rude or teases others. This is a very tense, confusing and emotional situation for me right now.

THANKS EVERYONE :o

Only way you are going to know for sure would be to try a pregnancy test every now and then. Since you aren't having periods yet, you obviously can't use lack of a period as a possible sign. Others you may or may not feel early on: being tired, sore breasts (particularily nipple tendernss), using the toilet more often, slight cramping, possibly feeling ill, etc. the usual. However, these can also show up around the time a period is due as well.

It can take many months after the last injection to become pregnant, or it can happen fairly soon afterwards.

If Nov. 27 was the last time you had sex, then you would most likely be noticing a number of changes. It happens that a pregnancy goes this long undetected, but it is not the norm.

My Gyno recommended the Depo shot for my severe endometriosis. I was told that the shot could possibly stop my period anywhere from 3-12 months. I decided to remain on the pill instead.
