View Full Version : No pressure in kitchen faucet

Yesterday I shut off the main flow to the house plumbing. I replaced two taps in the shower downstairs to stop a leak. Worked fine after turning the water back on. The kitchen faucet now has very low water pressure. Probably half what it was. Today I went into the basement and shut off the water supply again. I then went up and opened all the taps in the house. I then went down and opened up the water supply. I let the water flow for a couple of minutes and then started to shut off the taps. My water pressure in the house is fine except for the kitchen faucet. Would the faucet itself be blocked or is there another reason for this loss in pressure. By the way the dishwasher in the kitchen seems to be fine.

Thanks

Greg

I read a few of your other answers and tried to fix it myself. You were right. The filter on the faucet was slightly plugged.

Thanks

I have the same problem and thought to clean out the spout since we have hard city water. Still low pressure. Any other ideas?
