Me and my husband want to do a dissolution with children. We both want legal rights how do we draw up a shared parenting decree that the state of Ohio will recognize. We can't afford a attorney.

I didn't look through this site much but it might help.

The Divorce Support: Child Custody & Visitation Resources (http://www.divorcesupport.com/childcustody/custody.shtml)

As long as you agree and it doesn't interfere with the kids school you should be okay with what you decide on.

Most Judges I know give visitation to the non primary parent either every other weekend or every weekend, every other holiday, Mothers day with mom, Fathers day with dad, and a one or two or longer summer vacation split up or together. Like maybe one week in June and one or two later in the summer or two or three weeks in the middle of the summer. Pretty much how ever you agree on it.
