A co worker informed me she is HIV positive. COTA position who must I inform, or keep to myself ?

HIV and AIDS are not equally the same.
HIV is a virus disabling the immune system
AIDS is a later result. I am not sure when or how it progresses from one to the other.

I would think the only ones that need to know if someone is HIV positive are people that they might share a needle or have sex with.
**If you work in the food industry or health care or something along those lines the boss should possibly know.
I don't think you should tell anybody.

My food service job has a list of communicable diseases that if you have you can not work there.
Maybe see if there is such a list for COTA before you do anything else.
