I wrote an application on MS Access 2007 which contains many report functions, such as printed reports, label sheet reports, text files, etc, and they all work just fine from my developing machine, and for the most part the deployed applications have no problems except when it comes time to send a label report to a DYMO printer, the settings (in some of the machines) change and need to be reset every time they call that label. I tried to rename the printers ALL the same "DYMO" so the system chooses the correct printer and the settings remain the same, but the problem still continues to happen, and the users are complaining. Could someone give me an idea of what to do?

First you do need to make sure that the printer name is consistent for all PCs. I would not simply rename the printer, but remove and reinstall it. Second. In Report Design, you need to set it for a specific printer with specific paper size. And save that with the report.

Even with that, occasionally, the report gets messed up. I've dealt with a similar situation where a label printer was used. Occasionally, the lable definition gets corrupted (often its user error) and the report needs to be re saved.
