No one here will be able to tell you why. If you think it's a problem, talk to your doctor.

You're ten years old? If so, you do not need to be worrying about getting pregnant, shouldn't be having sex, and shouldn't even have a boyfriend. Please use real words and sentence structure so that we know what you are saying and asking. Netspeak will just confuse people.

I don't understand chat speak. Can you please type in proper words and sentences?
If you are wondering if you are pregnant please pee on your keyboard and I'll have the answer for you momentarily.
We cannot diagnose you over the internet. There are hundreds of different reasons women's periods are late.

Would you be able to tell me where I can find a *qualified* expert from then?

I am a qualified expert in obstetrics, however, I cannot diagnose you over the internet. You will have to take a pregnancy test or visit a doctor in person.

A doctor's office? Planned Parenthood? The hospital?
You need a doctor, not the internet.

You are 10 years old and having sex and wondering if you can have a baby? I should say I hope you can't. If you do, either you or the baby will have serious complications and either one of you could possibly die during labor and delivery.
Please talk to your parents about the seriousness of babies having babies.

Better yet - speak to someone qualified like a school counselor because if this thought is even in the head of a 10 year old... and that 10 year old is having sex... then the parents are negligent and should not be having children themselves.

Ok - well... that's better. :)
Still - you need to speak to a real doctor about the issue if you are not getting pregnant. There might be medical issues, none of which can be diagnosed over the internet.
It may also be your boyfriend.

She is nineteen, answered on another thread.
At 19, you are still too young to be concerned about not being pregnant for not being careful. You can speak with a doctor about your concerns, but I would actually be more inclined to think that you are damn lucky, not infertile.
There is also the question of your boyfriend's fertility, it takes two people to conceive a child.

It was a JOKE!
Being late for a period is caused by many reasons.
Stress
Weight gain or loss
Illness... etc.
How long have you been actually trying to get pregnant? Have you discussed this with your gynecologist?

I don't like talking in person to anyone about this that's the only reason why I came here

Well if you were/get pregnant you will have to speak to a doctor then...
So maybe it is time to address the fear.
Otherwise, wait until you grow up a bit, nineteen is still young for parenting.

If you are having sex you need to see a gynecologist once a year for a female physical.

Please make an appointment. You see, we don't know your medical history, we cannot examine you, and we cannot do lab work. Therefore, we cannot give you an accurate diagnosis.

Do you have to go to a hospital to see a gynologist
J_9

No, dear, you do not have to go to the hospital. They are doctors that have offices, they just specialize in girly parts.

No, most OB/GYN's have there own practices, check your local advertisements/area.

Are you kidding me? This is either a joke or you are WAY to naïve to be wanting to have a child. Yes, you need to be seen for a physical once a year. And at 19, you should be on birth control. You should not be having unprotected sex. You need to be reading up on your body, because you obviously don't know it.

If you get pregnant you will be at the doctor a couple of times a month. If you are not pregnant you need to see the doctor for your lady parts at least once a year.

Having unprotected sex = "I want a child!!"
It's one and the same, if you are being careless with your body there are consequences.

Look in your phone book, ask your doctor to make a referrel, look in the physicians covered by your medical insurance.

Why don't you want to speak to your doctor? You can't talk to your boyfriend about this? If not, you should be having sex with him. YOU HAVE TO SEE A DOCTOR.
Justwantfair
May 27, 2009, 01:42 PM
Ask his office, he isn't personally going to talk to you about it, ask for a referral to a gynecologist...
Quick before you do end up pregnant. Ask your boyfriend, maybe he can assist.

You are far too naïve to be having sex, much less a baby. Which is what will happen to you if you don't go to the doctor. Where do you live? City and state please? I will Google you names, numbers, and addresses for gynocologists in your town.

Have you ever heard of HIPAA? It's that paper that you sign when you go into the doctor that says that they cannot discuss ANY of your medical information with ANYONE. Anything that you say to your doctor stays with him/her. They are not allowed to disclose ANY information to your parents. I wouldn't worry about whether it's a family doctor.

j3- I do not like doctors much either and I am a nurse. I do not like to share very personal things with someone I barely know. HOWEVER, you are going to have to get over that if you are planning on having a baby. Believe me, I am pregnant with my second. I learned with my first that nothing is private anymore. My OB is part of a group so there are 6 different docs, every time I go I have to see someone different... so every time I go (which is now about every 10 days) someone different is looking at my body etc. If you aren't wanting to get pregnant your OB is your best friend... they can but you on birth control, if you do want to get pregnant they help with that too. So hopefully you are taking everyone's advice and making an appt.
