You cannot get citizenship just by depositing money to an account

Well there may be countries where you can buy citizenship, but I don't know where they are.

I doubt these days you could with all the immigration problems we have world wide.

You can go to PERU in South America. There you do not need more than 30,000 dollars to get the peruvian papers.
