Hi, I have two children , with separate fathers. Is it possible for one father to gain cusdody of the child who is not his ?:confused::confused::confused:

Yes, Were you married to one of the fathers ? It could be possible as a putative father. What is going on in your situation?

I have to question this... even if they were married, the best the step father could do would be get visitation. Certainly not custody. He also couldn't be held liable for child support. Two sides of the same coin.

We don't have enough of a question to give a relative answer. But here is the answer to your puzzle.
FatherA is married to wifeB and they have 1 child together. Then at some point motherB cheats on fatherA. The child is born within the marriage. FatherA could well be presumed the putative father of the new child. They end up in divorce court. FatherA applies for custody of both children. If granted then 1 child is a Bio child and the other is not. But the man responsible for both children in the legal world is fatherA.
That's how it could happen.

Ok sure - presuming that she was married to one while the other child was conceived with another man. I didn't read the post that way and that might have been a false assumption on my part.
