MikeWM: You do it the same way as you would replace Moen or Price Pfister cartridge: Close water to the whole house, remove trim, handle, remove cartridge, install new one, install trim, handle, turn water back ON - and you should be back in business...

What faucet are you referring to? Some Delta faucets don't have a cartridge.
How old is the valve? What does it do? Have you had it apart yet? We need more details before we can answer. Regards, tom
