Salam

I am 20 years old I have fallen in love with a guy of same age .my parents know about this they agree upon our relation .his family also know about this , he belongs to the 'sait' community in islam . They marry only from the sait families .so his mother is against this only because of the reason that I am not 'sait' girl.his father has no problem. Is it fair in islam to distinguish based on this subdivisions. Will it be allowed him to marry me against his mothers decision as she is doing a wrong thing?

Please don't write your name, for security reasons. It's to protect you.

As for your religion, maybe it's best if you consult a religious expert in your neighborhood. Someone who can give you appropriate advice.

Either way, 20 is very young and you do not have to rush into anything just yet. Take your time to sort out all these issues.

Fair is a subjective issue, what I think is fair and what may be church or religious rules are two different things.

Why not sit down with the religious leader of your faith and discuss your options
