I have a Default filed in Small Claims against the Defendant. How do I collect and how do I file a bank lien?

Collecting is the Catch 22 of getting a judgement. Generally getting the judgement is easy, but collecting is the hard part. You need to find their job (for a garnishment) or other assets (for a writ of execution).

If you know the name and account info of their bank account(s) you ask the judge for a writ of execution against the account. Then have the writ served on the bank by a process server.
