I have had the same job for 9 years and I make around $33,000.00 per year but I have no credit. I would like to buy a house but something that might be a foreclosure because I have no money saved and I would be a first time buyer. Is it possible that I can buy a house with my history. I live in someone else house and I just pay them rent so I have no credit history. What can I do?

Hello Brandy:
There are a couple things to do, but depending on your local market, they may be too little at this time. The first thing you need to do us build up some credit. With a job for 9 years, you can certainly get approved for a low level credit card... Use it, and pay off the balance EVERY MONTH. That'll start the ball rolling.
With no money down, there ARE some techniques to undertake and they can be learned from a book. There's lots of them at your local bookstore. But, most of them involve buying a house on an owner contract, or a lease option.
You're not going to get any deals that way, but at least you might get a house.

Yes do you have "no" credit or "bad" credit. Next no money for down payment, do you mean you don't have 5 or 10 K but have 1000 to 2000 perhaps.
I know here in Atlanta for 1000 down there are rent to own, and for a few 1000 there will be conract for deed.
