Hello,

My 1950's house has a leaking CI pipe mid way between the kitchen and main line located in the walk out basement. It is leaking out at the corner of the basement slab and out door wall. It appears te pipe must run at the slab/wall perimeter. You can hear the gurgling then see water when the sink is drained or dishwasher is used. Is there a liner system that can be used for this 1.5" or 2" pipe. Removing and replacng would be too expensive at this time.

I looks like you will have to install new pipe. I am not aware of liner for such a small diameter pipe. You don't have to follow old pipe. You can by-pass concrete foundation where possible. Other than that, I would suggest that you snake this pipe. Water overflows because you have obstruction in the line making water to exit through the hole in pipe.
