I would like to make artifacts like plaques, coffee mugs and curios, firstly I would like to know the procedure.. procuring the ceramic, moulding, firing? Painting and glazing. Could you please give me details as to how I can get this together and if you know of suppliers of raw materials would be a great help.

This won't be cheap. You'll need clay, a wheel, a kiln, glazes, and tools. Not to mention room to do this in (that's okay to get filthy).

Are you trying to start a studio or do you just want to learn ceramics?

Find a ceramic studio and take classes to see if u really want to get into all the phases.

Gare ceramic products has courses in how to use their paints and specialty products.

Good luck

That was my next suggestion, was to take a class. Most community colleges have classes.
