I'm looking for a replacement fan motor for my a/c unit. My current one has a model # of 5kcp39gfp922ds and I can't seem to find that exact model on the net. So if anyone knows where I can find out how or where to find a replacement model it would be great.

Try to get one with the same (or greater) horsepower, very similar RPM, and same "frame". Also, replace the starting capacitor at the same time.
I had to replace one of these not long ago and I had the same trouble you did. We have a small motor shop in our city and he was able to find an exact replacement, though I could not -- on the web.

Do you have a grainger inc store in your town? This is a good place to get motors. Or any hvac company can get you a motor that will work, just get the horse power and the rpms

There is many universal motors to pic from and they will work fine. Get the info from the old motor: HP, voltage and rotation. Any supplier can fix you up. Be sure to get a new run capacitor with your new motor good luck.

Look for a manufacturer's # on the motor - may start with "HC" or "HE". If present, you may have better luck finding a replacement using it.
