I have a newer Poulan XT riding mower with a 16.5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. I flipped it over to remove cording that got stuck in the blades. Now it won't start. Would the oil that spilled out cause this problem? Please help.

Pull the spark plugs crank it over either clean them or replace them when it starts it might smoke a little bit but will clear up

Mower runs for a short while only if the carburator is primed. Acts as though its not getting fuel
