Hi there

I am having a nightmare with my vauxhall astra 99 8v I have just had a new thermostat put in because I had mayo round engine and thermostat stopped working.I had cam belt changed at the same time because of the location of the thermostat(silly place to put it!) but I have now got a flat spot on acceleration and she quite jerky when doing 60 - 70 and really doesn't like low revs! It likes to be driven hard or thrashed but I don't like to do this. What could be wrong with it now? Still no engine management light thoe. I hate vauxhalls! Its had new breather pipes ,spark plugs. Fuel filter, air filter, and engine and fuel flush, full service (mayo gone) emissions past.. can some one help before I burn it lol!

Look forward to hearing from some one

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil. I recommend replacing them every 192,000 kilometers or 10 years, whichever comes first.
