Thank you to those who tried to answer my questions to the best of their knowledge. I apologize if I offended anyone with my previous question. I just recently found out I have MCTD and I'm a little down about having this disease. I am being treated for what I have. I forgot to ask my Dr. some of the questions I posted and I thought maybe someone could possibly answer instead of waiting for my next appt. I also have an appt. with a dermatologist to find out what the spots are, it sounds like it might be the disease causing the spots, which was one of the answers that was posted.

Skin problems & mixed connective tissue disorders can very much go hand in hand. But of course, not always. So it is good you are scheduled for the Dermatologist appt.
