I am 25 years old and recently was convicted with a felony charge of cocaine , I was very stupid one night and hope it doesn't destroy my life. I wish to further my education by taking college courses so that I can be a positive person in my children's life. I was wondering if there are any careers that I could work towards with this charge . I want to better myself but I am worried it's too late.

You didn't ruin your life neither its too late. Just forget about this and move on. Its really good idea for you to take some college course. Sometimes college may check your background history but don't feel sad about it, god must have kept thought something for you.
Just don't get demoralized. Work hard and be successful. No one will ask what why when you did something like this. But if you just kept thinking about this and hold yourself back, you will surely ruin you life and also effect you personal relations.

People forget easily. Just move to new place take a chill study hard. Come back successful and everyone will welcome you.
As far as govt papers are concerned no one will check them if you have good conductl

What is your source of this information? Plenty of employers do background checks before even hiring someone. Good conduct can't be a factor if they haven't even been hired yet.

Where do you get the "legal" information you post? This is absolutely incorrect advice. If it's a profession where licensing is involved, that's always a problem with a felony conviction.
Chilling, moving, coming back "successful" do not change the conviction.

Hi, octobeskye1!
What sort of education, training and job experience have you already had? Also, what sort of things would you like to do for a career, please?
You might be able to do something where you could be self-employed. But, more information from you as far as your current skills are.
Thanks!
