I went to the salon today to get my hair colored by the same lady who has done it over a year. She foils in high lights and low lights together. Usually the low light are light brown but today they turned out black, so she done what she called a shampoo cap to remove some color. That didn't work so then she used a color remover. The color remover only faded the color on top. Now the underneath of my hair is still black and the top has blonde highlights, streaks of brassy orange, and brown. It looks horrible. What I want to do is color all this mess light brown (my natural color) but I don't know how. Any Ideas? Also after everything that was done to my hair today, how long do I need to wait to try to fix it? I don't want to fry what's left of my clown hair. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh can you believe she still charged me 80.00 for this? When I protested she said that I was not paying for her service but for the products she used. Is this the norm in the salon business? Im out of 80.oo and still have to find and pay someone else to fix her mess because she cant.

Brown will cover most of it but it will cause the brown/black hair to go darker, it already pourus and so it will grab color, you can color it all brown will cover the orange and put up with darker hair and let it grow , or you coul go to another professioanl a good colorest can fix it or you can get the one bottle brown loving care color it will fade but blend to gether and then let it grow out

Thank you for the advice. I did go to another professional today. She put a brown on it and it covered all the orange & blonde but it did turn out really dark all over. Im hoping over time this will fade some. She was afraid to try another color stripping because the other one dried my hair out pretty bad.
