Hello, my question is when I became the administrator of my fathers estate, am I suppose to get a copy of the paperwork when it is done?

Over a month ago I went to a lawyer to help with my fathers estate. He died interstate, so I became the administrator of the estate. I did not pay the 350.00 fee at that time because I needed to change the maritial statuse to single on my dads death cert. I took care of that and sent my lawyer the updated death certificate.( my lawyer said I needed to give him athousand dollars to start the process of my dads estate)
My lawyers assistant said I was suppose to receive a copy of the admin paper (when the lawyer gave them the 350 from the thousand dollars) and when I informed him I didn't get it he said he will speak to the lawyer and get a break down of what the money was used for. Lets just say the day he was going to send me the break down he didn't do it and he left the job permanantly. When I spoke to someone else in the lawyers office I was told I am not suppose to receive a copy of the administrator of the estate paper work from city hall. I keep calling to speak to my lawyer but he is either busy or at court.

When you spoke to the clerk of the probate court about the estate what did they say, was it opened, where you named.

Also where are you at?? Nothing about the estate comes from city hall where I am at,
