Please help!
Our garbage disposal would not turn on, but just made a humming sound. So I took an Allen wrench and inserted it into the hole at the very bottom of the unit and turned the wrench. This freed up the unit... and it would be operational now, but the Allen wrench got stuck in the bottom of the garbage disposal. It will destroy the electrical cord if we use the disposal (from the Allen wrench hitting the cord). Do you know of anything that I can do to get it unstuck so I can use my garbage disposal again?

Spray it with lube, pull, tap, twist-loosen or slightly tighten, grit your teeth and repeat. It'll come loose. Good luck, don't break any bones.

Push up and pull down on the outer most part of the wrench. It is likely parially striped and just needs to be wiggled out.
