My son is 3 and he goes to the bathroom to pee very well but for some reason he doesn't want to go poo in the potty. My husband and I are trying our best to help him know where the "poo" goes but it doesn't seem to work. We have tried everything from bribing him with his favorite food to just sitting him on the toilet and telling him to do it. Its frustrating and I don't know what to do. HELP!

Toilet training is very frustrating. Has he just turned three? If so I think he'll get the hang of it quite soon, but if he is nearer four it's a different matter. Is he in pre-school? If he can go to the bathroom to pee then he can go to the bathroom to poo. Could be that he doesn't like to see the poo in the potty and that's why he refuses to use it. Continue to encourage him to sit on the toilet in the bathroom, then encouraging him to flush and wash his hands even if he hasn't performed. I don't agree with offering him his favourite food. Kids a quite resourceful, he may even put of going to the toilet until he gets his 'bribe'.
