This site shows you how to derive the formula for the area of a hexagon. A hexagon is a plane figure, so it has no volume.

If you're talking about a hexagonal prism, just multiply the area of the hexagon by the height of the prism.
The area of a hexagon is given by A=\frac {3\sqrt{3}}{2}t^2 where t is the length of a side.
