A wheel has a diameter of 70 cm and completes a revolution in 0.25 seconds at top speed.
a) Determine the angular velocity, in radians per second.
b) How far does the wheel travel in one minute?

There are 2Pi radians in one revolution. The wheel turns 4 revs in 1 second.

a. \left(4 \;\ \frac{rev}{sec}\right)\left(2{\pi} \;\ \frac{rad}{rev}\right)=8\pi \;\ \frac{rad}{sec}

b. How far does it travel in a minute? The circumference of the wheel is 2{\pi}r

It travels 4 times this in one second. Then, multiply by how many seconds are in a minute.
