I am wanting to replace my old Honeywell Chromotherm III to a Hunter Set & Save 44260.
The wiring from the old is: W-white, G-green, C-blue, R-red, Y-yellow and orange is not connected (O,W,G,C,R,Rc,B,Y).
My new one is labeled G,RC,RH,Y/O,W/B & Y1 with RC & RH jumped.
I have gone through most of the post and did not see one that helped or I just didn't read all the way through :p.
I have separate units, ouside electric AC and gas heater in the attic if this helps or not
Anyone out there that can help it will be VERY much appreciated

Yep, you just have a ac unit right? Not a heatpump?

The best help I could give you is to ask you to take back or throw away the Hunter junk,, if you don`t have a heat pump you have the wrong tstat in more than 1 way. It will work on heat/cool system but not necessary to spend the extra $$ for something you don`t need, not accounting for the fact that $ spent on a much better Honeywell would be around much longer again I`ll say that the Hunter is junk
