Hi, I am a divorced Dad and my daughter is graduating from high school. I have had very little contact with her the last three years and am not sure what to do for her for graduation. Since I plan to help her with college expenses this fall, I would like to give her something other than money. What are some of you doing for your daughter's for graduation?

Hi NCDad, it Sunday in America right? You might not get any responses until tomorrow.
Other times it can take a few hours for someone to reply to your question as well.
It all depends on who is online at the time :)
I'm sure you will get a response :)

You could ask her what she would like.
You could take her and a group of her friends out to dinner.
You could rent a hall and provide a party.
All kids want a car,I don't know what your budget is like.
You could always ask her Mom if you are on speaking terms,I am sure she has some suggestions.Perhaps you could both put your funds together to get a second hand car.

Is she living in residence or in an apartment. Either way, maybe a gift certificate to a Staples store, or to Walmart. Maybe pay for the bus pas for a year if she's bussing to and from, maybe a new cell phone, computer equipment or a pre-paid credit card or gas card.
One of the biggest expenses is books, and you can get gift certificates and the campus book store usually.
