I would like to have a neo-angle shower in the 2nd bathroom in the house we are building, but the drain was not put in for this shape of shower. Is there a way to still put in the neo-angle shower and somehow adjust the drain over many inches?

Hi Mfrost...

Sure is... just need to open up the floor or ceiling and relocate the drain so the PTRAP is directly under the drain in the neo-angle shower unit.

You may or may not need to drill through a joist or two to get the 2" pipe to its new location, but that should be worst case and still isn't a big deal.

Let me know if you need more information...

Neo-angle shower bases do not have standardized location for drains. We almost always have to move it.

In addition to Mark's advice: Take shower base, put it on the floor exactly where it is going to be, mark hole through the pan, remove the pan and bring your existing drain to this mark.

Plan ahead. Visualize how you going to attach the drain once you put shower pan over it. There are several ways of attaching drain to the pan - do see which type you have and proceed accordingly.
