I am married to a Minnesota dairy farmer with both of our names on the bimonthly milk check, he has fathered a child with someone else. How is gross monthly income for farmers decided and is the milk check looked at only by his half at 50% or 100%. TIA for your time.

The milk check doesn't really matter at this time. That's not his gross income. They should be more interested in the tax return. That would have the "gross" figures on it. Running a dairy is a business so you can't take from the reciepts to calculate support. It has to come from the remainder. Example.. The both of you owned a grocery store. Lets say you do $100,000 per month in business. But after operating expenses your only left with $4,000 a month. The child support would be on the $4,000. His 1/2 of it would be $2,000 for the purpose of calculation.
Hope that clears it up.
