I have a 92 ford ranger with a 2.3L 4 cyl. It's the one with 8 plugs. The problem I'm having is when your driving its just gutless, and you can feel it missing on one cylinder it feels like. I've done new plugs, wires, coil packs and had the DIS module tested at Napa, they ran the test 3 times and it came back PASS all 3 times. Its not throwing any codes so I have no ideas on what else it could be.
Has anyone had this problem before or know what else could it possibly be? Crank or cam position sensors? O2 sensor? Computer.. I hope not :(? I'm clueless with these new engines, gimme a distributor with points and condenser any day.
I'd like to figure this out, since as it runs right now it takes forever to get up to 55 mph and it sucks down gas like the old V8 I got rid of for this for the reason it sucked down gas.
