Replacing Thermostat from a iNVENSYS 9420 to the Hunter 44260. I have 7 wires coming from the wall. Tan, Red, Orange, Green, Blue, White, Yellow

The old had L,C,R (Tan to C, Red to R) Y2, Y1,E,W2,G,O,B (Yellow to Y1, Orange to O, Green to G, Blue to B, and White to W2)

The New Hunter has G, Rc, Rh, Y/O, W/B, and Y1. I hooked it up and it seemingly worked however I hear a sound like water running and cold air from the area of the filter is when the unit reaches selected temperature and fan off until the fan starts again. I have it wired Green to G, Red to Rc, Tan to Rh, Yellow to Y, White to B and Y1 not connected. Orange and Blue are taped off. I now feel this is wrong. Please help me. Thank you so much in advance. Your friend Sheri

Is the new stat you have rated for 2 heat?

The new one if for use with a heat pump. There are 3 switches on the inside of the panel they are Auto Recovery (enable/disable I have it set as enable) System Selector (STD/HP I have it set on HP) and HG/HE (I have selected HE)

Hope this helps

Also I have a Rheem Model RBHA 17J11NFGAI heater/ac inside with a Rheem Model # RPLA 030JAZ airconditioning unit/heat pump outside. Hope this helps thanks again -Sheri
