I haven't heard from my boyfriend in two days. He won't pick up his phone or reply to sms's. I can't figure out why. When I saw him three days ago everything was normal, he's interstate for a work trip but he phone works because he sent me one sms. It said he was hating work and really tired. He could have lost his phone because it rings and goes to voice mail, its really really really out of character for him to ignore me or his mates like this, what if something happened to him? I don't know the name of the hotel otherwise I would have called by now, Imo so freaked out I had to call in sick from work today.. please help

First off, please refrain from using txtspeak. This is not a text messaging board and it is very hard to understand.
Now to your question. He is probably working and you are obsessing over nothing. Quit worrying and wait until he gets home.
I have traveled for most of my working life and it is very hard at times to call home, no matter how much you want to. Sometimes it is just not possible.

If you're really worried why don't you give his family a quick ring. There is usually a logical explanation for these things. He might be sleeping, he might have lost his phone.

No point worrying until you know for sure.

Update:

I got a call from one of his house-mates asking if I had heard from him. Its been four days now. His mother has heard nothing. He works as a fund raiser for a save the children type organisation. As I said this is really unusual and he is interstate so the only way to contact him is via his mobile, if it was lost wouldn't it have died by now. Im very worried please help

How can we help?

If everybody is concerned, even his family. Maybe it is time to get the police involved. Put in a missing persons report.

FYI, I've tried calling the police to help me locate a missing friend before and they said only family members should be calling. What non-family members can do is hire a private investigator. Sounds ridiculous to me, but that's the way it works in some places.

He contacted me this morning. He got whacked on the head by a car door. He dropped his keys and bent down to pick them up and the guy in the car park next to him opened his door as he was coming up and smack! He was out cold for awhile (I don't know how long) and was hospitalised for a few days (he said there is no brain damage, but he had a concussion)... he left his phone at the hotel. Believe it or not he has been knocked out by stranger things. I seriously don't know why I'm surprised, he is a magnet for pain.

Wow... shouldn't you be at the hospital visiting him? I hope he's OK.

He's interstate for work. He's almost eight hours away. I don't have the money, he's got the car and I just started a new job. That and he's coming back tomorrow. If it wasn't for my new job I'd find a way, but I only got it almost two days ago.
