My toilet knocks (sounds like in the pipes) after I flush it. It has been going on for two days. How can I remedy this problem. The toilet seems to be flushing fine. I took off the top to the tank to see if I could see anything that looked abnormal but everything seem to be in or meder but what do I know? Please help me.

You will need to either clean or replace your fill valve. The others should be along shortly to give you pics and procedure.

Well if it never used to knock but now it has started it could be several things including high water pressure or an air chamber that has been absorbed over time, it could even be a pipe hanger that has lost its grip. Ballcock are also a possibility but my guess that's slightly lower on the suspect list but still there. Keep the lid off the tnk, flush the toilet and carefully observe the refill, does the float kind of snap shut at the end?

How do I replace a filler in a toilet? I have knocking in the pipes after flushing and someone said that I need to replace the filler in the tank. Do you have any step by steps

Maybe replacing the fill valve will help, maybe. It could be other things but lets answer your question. This would help you rebuild or clean a bad Fluidmaster 400A https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/attachments/plumbing/16960d1235510994-fill-valve-issues-fluidmaster-5.jpg
This will help your replace one, I do recommend a Fluidmaster 400A How to Replace a Toilet Fill Valve | Expert Village Videos (http://www.expertvillage.com/video/256_toilet-fill-valve.htm)
