So for A cylinder is measured and found to be 28 m long and 33 m in diameter.

1. What is the radius of the cylinder?
2. What is the volume of the cylinder in m3? m3

The volume of a cylinder is where R is the radius and L is the length.

1. 16.5
2. 23948.36 ? v=pix16x5^2.28 how should I write it as?

1. You are correct

2. V = \pi r^2 h

V = \pi \, \times \, (16.5\,m)^2 \, \times \, 28 \,m \, = 7623 \, \pi \, m^3

Does your teacher wish you to multiply out the value of pi or submit it as 7623 π? You can do it either way.

1000 cubic feet is approximately equal to 28.31 cubic metres, or 28317 decimetre cube.

A litre equals 1 decimetre cube.
So, you have 28317 litres of water.

Since a litre weighs a kilogram, you have 28300 kilograms (to 3significant figures)
