I am looking for a low profile style softner. The area where this is going to be installed is only 44 inches high and I would love some input .Most models I have found are too high and it would be a problem filling and working on them. I thought Sears had one but I have yet to find any info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I found some info on the Waterboss model and I would like to get another option if possible. Thanks in advance

How low do you wish to go? How about some dimensions. Regards. Tom

44 inches is the max height. We need at least 12 inches to add the salt and to service the unit.

The model I have found is a Waterboss 120#
*17,800, 4,684 grain settings
12volt transformer included
Holds 120 # of salt
*70 grain max raw water hardness

*23-1/2 x 14-1/2 x 19"
*3/4" MHT inlet/outlet,FHT x MPT hoses included
*3 yr warranty on all mechanical Parts 10yr on CAbinet and resin tank.

This may be my only choice available. Thanks Speedball for your time.

Home Depot and Lowe's carry Low Profile water softeners for about $450.00. They sell them in medium performance and high performance options. They are about 32" high.
