View Full Version : 2002 hyundai will not start-nothing at all. Battery fully charged

Hello everyone.

This is my first time on this site, and I freely admit to not knowing much about cars. My wife has a 2002 hyundai sonata. We went to start the car and nothing happened. No sound, nothing at all. The only thing that would happen is that the break lights work. I took the battery out and took it to an auto shop. They said that the battery was very low but okay. They charged the battery and I took it home. Same issue. Any suggestions?

It could be a bad starter or ignition switch.

. Ensure battery terminals and cable connections are clean and tight.
