What has your vet said?

He is an the older age bracket but you need to go get some bloodwork done and a general check up to find out what is going on.
It may be something fixable or you might be able to get something from the vet to make him more comfortable or even give him some more time.

It is time for you and your vet to sit down and have a serious talk about your dogs future. He may have a year or so left. But then again Labs at 13 are quite old, and if he is in pain or suffering it might be the humane thing to put him down now.

Have you talked to your vet. Maybe if you haven't already done so, you could work on changing his diet.

Have there been any changes in the household? Old dogs, like old people, get set in their ways and disruptions in their environment can be almost painful. 450donn is probably correct about future plans.
