I've read every post on this thread. I haven't been able to find the right combination. Mine is a Kenmore Ultra Wash Quietguard 1, model number 15632000. It has different button names than any others I've seen on this thread:

CYCLES

Pots/pans; normal wash; water miser; light wash; quick rinse

OPTIONS

Hi Temp Wash; Air Dry (lock on)

Then on the right-hand side it has: Delay hours (2, 4 & 6); START; CANCEL (drain)

"Pots/pans" and "Quick rinse" blink red alternatively with the "Cancel" blinking red.

Anybody got any ideas?

Me too - same model - the lock on light is flashing

stanbrownmi, I think the lock on light will go off by holding the air dry button for 4-5 seconds. That's what my manual said when I was looking for a fix for my normal wash blinking light. There doesn't seem to be a fix for that. Ultra wash quietguard 4
