I have a Trane ac unit. I'm not sure on it's size. The condenser fan motor went out and I had a tech out he removed the motor. The motor is a GE model # 5kpc39kgV566S.
My landlord wants to wait for his buyer assurance warranty to take affect b(2-3 weeks).
It's been over 100 degrees all week so a friend gave me a Fasco Model# D7908 motor. What do I need to do to make it work? When the tech removed the motor he also took the wires so I'm not sure where to hook up the wires.

Please HELP, Wolves

Is your AC system one that has a compressor in a separate box out side and a furnace inside the house that blows the air. If so I will try to explain to you how to do it if you will answer a couple of questions.

First how many wires are coming out of the motor you have. And also what color are the wires.

I think I have it figured out with some help from a friend that just stopped by.
The new motor has 2 yellow and 2 blue that are jumped to their own colors,1 white,1brownand white,1black, and 1 brown. I connected the brown&white and the brown to the starter or capacitor that came with the motor, and the black and white wires to the unit's capacitor
