Hello I have a 1994 civic dx coupe I was taking my kid's to school when my car shut off at a red light two min past and it started up. Now it's doing it again can anyone give me some advice.

. Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, if the Check Engine Light comes on for two seconds and goes off normally, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II):

I recommend replacing these problematic components every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

. Replace platinum spark plugs (NGK only), if they have more than 40,000 miles on them. If you have standard copper-tip spark plugs, replace them if they have more than 24,000 miles, or 24 months, on them.
