Just another instance of an old problem - but a little different take and I need help!
Mizzy is a 6 year old spayed Shih Tzu/Bichon. Housebroken - although she never whines to go out - we take her out a lot.
We went to Arizona, living in our RV, went out for 4 hours in the evening, Mizzy was taken out before we went, came home, dog pee'd in our bed. Excuse - figure she got upset at us going out. Decided to lock her out of the bedroom when we go out. Went to visit brother who has male dog, Mizzy went immediately and pee'd a small amount in their bedroom. Excuse- male dog has pee'd on the bedpost and Mizzy was covering it up. Cure - keep her close to us when we visit. Visit my mother - we go out and big pee job in the bedroom. Now we are living on our boat - Mizzy taken out at 10:30 last night and a big pee in the salon.
She has lived this life style for six years - RV/boat/house. Does she have the brains to rebel? I can't change MY life style to suit a dog, what to do? What to do?
Second problem probably associated - she is acting moody. I call her-won't come. Invite her on the bed-won't come up. Uphappy little girl. Won't eat anything but Beggin' Strips
Man, the more I go one - she is wrecked.

Sounds like she's upset. I also think it is strange that she's always traveled with you and is all of a sudden behaving this way. Has anything changed? You could put her in a kennel or crate when you're out to prevent her from peeing on any more stuff. Good luck!

Have you been leaving her on her own more often?

Try getting some toys for her like kongs or squeekies.

Dogs get bored and destructive very easily.

Thanks for the replies - I took her to the vet today and found out about crystals in the urine.
We are going back to crating her in the night - just call it a "condo" and it doesn't sound so bad.
Thanks for the tips on chewy toys = hadn't thought about that.

Good to hear you found out the main cause of it...
Thanks for the update :)
I hope this behaviour stops soon :)
