Hi, I have installed a new electric waterheater 100 Litres supply pressure 6 bars, pressure regulating valve set at 4 bars pressure relief valve 5 bars, when electricity switched on thermal expansion increases pressure to 8 bars, pressure relief valve starts leaking correctly at approx 5 bars but still pressure has increased to 8 bars. My problem- I have to adjust waterheater thermostat so as not have the relief valve leaking too much water (bucket full per week) due too thermal expansion thereby the 8 bars reading, although the water comes very hot approx 65 to 70 degrees centrigrade there is not enough hot water for two persons to have a shower. The pressure regulating valve is placed about 1.5 metre from waterheater. I am thinking of inserting an expansion tank would this help with above.

Please help with a solution thanks

The expansion tank properly installed should eliminate your problem. Follow the factory install instructions.
